What does it take
to study at Berklee?

The Berklee College of Music, in Boston, is widely recognized as the leading university for contempoary music in the world. It is well known for the study of jazz and modern American music. Musicians from around the world aspire to hone their craft and develop skills as professional musicians at Berklee.

Admissions
Students at Berklee go through a holisitc admissions process. The primary criteria is an audition and the applicant’s previous academic record.
Academics
Students at Berklee are exposed to a range of instruments, musical styles, and career options. By studying at Berklee, students open opportunities for many career options, as professional musicians or leaders in the music industry.
Facilities
Berklee is located in the Back Bay area of Boston, buildings on Newbury Street and Boylston Street. There are also classrooms on Massachusetts Avenue. .
Demographics
Total enrollment at the Berklee College of Music exceeds 6,000 talented musicians. Of students enrolled in the degree programs, 29% are female, 11% are African American, and 10% are Hispanic. Students from 100 countries outside of the U.S. accounted for approximately 30% of the student population.
Berklee Valencia
Berklee Valencia is the college’s first international campus, housed in the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia. Queen Sofia Palace of the Arts is the final structure build of a grand City of Arts and Sciences concept designed by the Valencia-born and internationally known architect Santiago Calatrava..

About Me

I’m Zach Santos and I love music.

I grew  up in North Seattle and graduated from the Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences. I’ve been a musician since I was six years old and I’m now studying toward my undergraduate degree at the world-renowned Berklee School of Music.

I am a natural leader and practice several hours each day to hone my craft. Contact me to help coordinate your musical event.
